I'll never understand why those in our government do just the opposite of what the people want. It's been that way for some time now. More needs to be done to remind our "elected officials" of this.

Under state law it's still technically drug paraphernalia as well and again illegal to offer for sale, likely even for medical patients. I-502 didn't change the state paraphernalia laws AFAIK. De facto legal but de jure illegal to sell, basically.

Unless you are one of the lucky ones that attain ownership of what will very likely be a very expensive license from the State.

So no, you cannot now grow it in a pot in your backyard, nor can you grow it in a pre-fab grow room in your knotty-pine rec room (hah!). However, nobody needs to know about your hidden indoor grow-room in your knotty-pine rec room. But it's quite likely that, unless you live on a remote plot of land up in Darrington, some one of your neighbors or one of their nosy children will spot the one lone plant growing in that pot in your backyard.

It is not illegal to own a grow-room and it is far less likely that any pot you are growing in a hidden grow room will be discovered than if it were in a pot outside in your yard.

Even the somewhat inferior pot I can grow almost for free in my back yard is still going to be 100x more potent than the weed I used to smoke in the 1970s.

I'll pass on the grow room. But I'm glad it makes others happy.

I'm all for regularization of pot as an item of commerce, but some specific electrical and fire-safety code upgrades would be nice to have in place, in advance, before grow-rooms become as popular as knotty-pine rec rooms were in the 1960s.
