Also as someone who has a fair amount of experience with the LAPD, they are fucked, they are still fucked and most likely they will always be fucked. Since its inception LAPD has viewed it self as a paramilitary organization that sees the public as "the enemy" and has been at the forefront of the militarization of the countries police forces as well as the gross violation of the civil rights of this nations citizens.
