You come and you clearly state your concern. They refuse to respond. They just say nothing.

Then, later, they report that they met with you in a way that tries to position you as irrational and impossible to satisfy. It's a good trick that works with strong reliability.

Just because they met, doesn't mean they discussed. Just because they heard, doesn't mean they engaged. It is the pretense of engagement without any actual engagement.
