Also The Ononos kicked fucken ass, they are the best band I have seen come out of Seattle in ages.

The pieces that really worked for me were the quiet little screen with the nails in repeating video, and Television Telephone, mainly because they found a way to be completely isolated from everything and not be invaded by the rest of the art. Also, Are You Afraid of the Dark? was a nice throwback to the 90s that managed to be its own piece.

I think this is my own quibble because most of the art really reminded me of the art on the playa but without the expanse of deep playa to make each piece stand on their own, and almost like a found item. Thus, this criticism in no way reflects on the quality of art but merely on the method of presentation.
