I loved every minute of this, and I wish there were more things like this happening all the time, everywhere. Congratulations to the organizers and the participants--you turned my shitty Sunday into 'The Best Sunday Ever'.

This was a great show, I really enjoyed my self and it was a great use of the otherwise abandoned space. I would really like to thank those who put the time and effort into this show and Jen took some really nice photos. Though the scale of many of the pieces is hard to represent without being there. I really liked that giant electronic spider, the name slips my mind as my program is not in front of me. My only complaint was that they should have stocked better beer, but I do appreciate it was a local brewery.

Also The Ononos kicked fucken ass, they are the best band I have seen come out of Seattle in ages.

On/Off needed an even bigger space. You know where I would have totally loved it? Smoke Farm. In the BMW warehouse each of the different art pieces invaded each other, and not in a good way. It all felt a little too bright, and a little too close. Klara's blob was amazing, but it needed even more space around it. In fact, I think both Taylor Pinton's I guess, DK Pan's pot tent, and the sunburn compan really overlit the space and took away from the specialness of some of the quieter pieces as well as the main part of the Xhurch Collective.

The pieces that really worked for me were the quiet little screen with the nails in repeating video, and Television Telephone, mainly because they found a way to be completely isolated from everything and not be invaded by the rest of the art. Also, Are You Afraid of the Dark? was a nice throwback to the 90s that managed to be its own piece.

I think this is my own quibble because most of the art really reminded me of the art on the playa but without the expanse of deep playa to make each piece stand on their own, and almost like a found item. Thus, this criticism in no way reflects on the quality of art but merely on the method of presentation.
