Are those alpine strawberries I see topping the cupcakes on the right? Is that marshmallow or meringue peeking out from under the dipped chocolate on the center tower? And why is the main cake flaming red and adorned with a hipster-glasses-sporting skull?

I demand answers!

My Fellow Cupcake Freaks: The 560 min cupcakes were lustily baked by Stuffed Cakes in West Seattle, owner Donna Lawson at the helm. We had chocolate espresso, pecan-stuffed carrot cake and our signature "Big Hitch" cupcake: Calamondin. That's a vanilla cake stuffed with calamondin jam and topped with calamondin coulis buttercream with a slice of candied calamondin peel on top. The calamondin stuff was donated by my friend since 1970, Joanne Hageman at the Calamondin Cafe in Ft. Myers, Florida. (I'm Paul, one of The Husbands).

I would like to add that they were delicious.

I like how this gets a full article, but Ed Murray (who's running against Slog endorsed Mike McGinn) only gets half a paragraph in the morning blurbs 4 days after the Seattle Times reported it.

Stuffed Cakes is absolutely AMAZING!!! Donna made both cakes for our wedding(s) and even though it didn't work out, the cakes were to die for! Her team is phenomenal!

WHAT THE FUCK. Where is the story about this wedding, you know, with pictures and so on. 2 luchadors and no pictures? My god! Get a dayjob!
