President Obama Was on The View This Morning

Posted by on Tue, May 15, 2012 at 11:25 AM

This is news, apparently, except there's no news in it: President Obama went on relentlessly awful TV gabfest The View this morning, because a weird New York Times poll says that Romney is suddenly doing better with women voters for no good reason at all. President Obama didn't really say anything new about anything on The View, but he did talk about marriage equality a whole bunch. If you want to know more about this television appearance that is currently at the top of every news blog in the universe, go to this website.

You're claiming that Obama taped a segment on The View yesterday afternoon because of poll that came out last night?

Yeah, what #1 said. I think this appearance on The View has been scheduled for weeks.

Obama's appearance on The View was originally planned to be the occasion when he was to roll out his "personal" support (a perfect venue for this position) of marriage equality. Then Biden jumped the gun, and the WH called ABC News' Robin Roberts in order to hastily schedule an interview to get Obama out in front of the story. That's the only political calculation here, not a nervous response to new poll numbers.

If you don't think it's newsworthy, don't report on it.

Don't worry Michelle, daddy's coming for you!

Also, who are these women being polled saying that they'd rather vote for War-On-Women Romney? I always vote and nobody's every polled me or anyone I know about anything.
