Tonight's only reading—all the bookstores will be busy putting up garland and bows and hanging the Christmas Gristle with care— is the annual Haiku D’etat at the Richard Hugo House, with "featured poet Blair." This is a battle using haiku. Since it the name is a play on "coup d'etat," I will assume that single-named poet Blair is the President of Haiku, and it is your job to
kill or overthrow him/her. Any means necessary!
The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
