That's the headline of the day, courtesy of a Bloomberg article someone just sent us. The company Kimberly-Clark "has been aggressively running... fashion-style marketing pitches in mainstream magazines and on television, because adult incontinence is a market that’s recently become too big—and lucrative—to remain in the shadows."

The company also produced a rap video of people under 50 dancing around in diapers and, I have to say, it's kinda catchy.

I also learned from this article that "Growth in the adult-diaper market is outpacing that of every other paper-based household staple in the U.S.," and that "as many as 1 in 3 adults—more than 80 percent of them women—have bladder control issues."

Maybe it's because I'm a Savage Love reader and a Savage Lovecast listener, but all those handsome men dancing around in that rap video (that sexy daddy at the :50 mark?) make me think Bloomberg is remiss in not bringing up ABDL fetishes and ABDL fetishists, who are mostly guys, if the cross-section of humanity that writes to Savage is any indication, and who the internet has certainly helped to help find each other. But nah, the folks at Bloomberg are squares. Although after watching that video, I doubt the folks at Kimberly-Clark are.
