For the noble purposes of improving performance, providing better deals to customers, and making the world a better place by being a better company, Walmart, the "world's largest corporation by revenue," is closing 267 stores worldwide, and 154 in the US.

A small number (around 20) of the stores to be closed in the US are in blue states; and big number (around 130) are in red ones. I'm only just pointing this fact out. I'm not making any meaning out of it, at least in this post.

Red states vote GOP, the party that represents white males. The other major party in the US represents white males and other kinds of people.
