As ballots from last week's election continue to trickle in, the races for a city council seat representing District 1 (West Seattle) and District 2 (southeast Seattle) remain too close to call.

In District 1, where no incumbent was running, business-backed candidate Shannon Braddock now leads lefty Lisa Herbold by just 95 votes. That's slightly tighter than the 104 votes that separated them on Friday night. (In that district, by the way, at least 98 voters wrote in someone other than Herbold or Braddock.)

In District 2, powerful incumbent Bruce Harrell is leading his challenger Tammy Morales by just 401 votes, which is actually a very slight widening of his lead since Friday night.

Other races—including Kshama Sawant's victory in District 3, Rob Johnson's in District 4, and Tim Burgess's for citywide Position 8—are decided.

But, we're still far from finished. Today's drop only got us a couple hundred votes closer to the real totals in the districts still up for grabs. In District 1, at least 3,261 ballots remain uncounted; in District 2, at least 2,402 remain. In total, about 22,700 uncounted ballots remain citywide.

Below are the latest full results. The next drop is expected tomorrow around 4:30 p.m.
