NASA hooked up some instruments that recorded electromagnetic vibrations in deep space, including those from Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Jupiter, Earth, and the sun. These were then transmuted into sounds that human ears can discern. The shocking result? These interstellar vibrations sound very similar to the compositions of avant-garde composers like Louis and Bebe Barron, Iannis Xenakis, György Ligeti, and Morton Subotnick, as well as younger ambient producers like Lull and Thomas Köner. (But not Gustav Holst or Sun Ra, oddly.)

Point being: NASA could press these recordings to vinyl, have Robert Beatty or some other hot artist design the LP covers, and make a nice chunk of change selling them to collectors of weird music.
