Remember last year when the mayor proclaimed City Hall "Kitty Hall" and there was a tent of cats to cuddle and then the cats basically held their own press conference?

Well, IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN.

Today.

Noon.

Last year—for those of you who will inevitably call this a waste of resources because you want people like me to only go to press conferences held by humans until my eyes bleed from boredom—16 cats got adopted at an event soon after the City Hall cuddlefest. Most people said they heard about it thanks to Kitty Hall.

Cuddling will happen on site today; adoptions won't. But, "this is a great way to meet a potential pet," the Seattle Animal Shelter reminds us. The shelter currently has more than one hundred cats and kittens available for adoption.
