It's really obvious NOW, anyway. Dan, I think you just made it happen.
2
What's with all these preachy movies coming out lately?

It would have been better if she'd turned him into an atheist.
3
You are spot on Savage. Morgan Fairchild was Culture of the highest quality in the 1980s. Good call.
4
Christian Tingle: Find God's Snatch For You.
6
Yes, it's such a shame to see how far Morgan Fairchild has fallen, especially after she was nominated for an Academy Award for her breathtaking role in Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2.
7
Daniel, stop trying to make "God's snatch" happen! It’s not going to happen!
8
I like the smiling zombie seen. This is about zombies, right?
9
That movie looks so fetch!
10
Ugh, scene.
11
"...Paul and I"? Ouch.
12
"In church, no one can hear you scream."
13
@9 "Fetch" is not going to happen.
14
I don't think her father, the inventor of toaster strudel, would be too pleased to hear about this.
15
I too was caught off guard by the Corbin Bernsen writer/director credit. Checked out his wikipedia page via the link and, sure enough, he's a goofball Christian. Far more importantly, via that same link, I learned that "Bernsen has one of the largest snow globe collections in the world. Bernsen said in an interview on Marie by Marie Osmond on January 21, 2013 that he had 8,000 snow globes in his collection."

So that's... something.
16
I think the excessive botox use on Morgan's part is much sadder.
17
Christian Dangle
18
Lacey Chabert NOOOOO!

That is SOOOO not fetch!
19
Crispin Mingle?
20
Yea, this movie would have been so much funnier from an atheist, agnostic, or even Jewish perspective.

Think about it, atheist gal has to introduce her stereotypical Christian love to her stereotypical Hasidic Jew family. Let the quirks begin!
21
Girl shows up to a picnic in the park wearing robe and sandals.
Guy smiles charmingly, "Usually people wear denim to a picnic."
Record Scratch
22
@16: Ohgod. Which of Morgan's parts got botoxed?!
23
This trailer has such a made-for-Hallmark-Channel vibe.
24
I googled Lacey Chabert to see if she was a known super-Christian. What I got was a lot of images of her in a bra. For what that's worth.
25
It's all pretty obvious:

-Porn parody title: Tinder: The Movie

-Secular PG version: Match.com: The Movie

-R rated spin off: OKCupid: The Movie
26
It's for realz?
27
@24: wow, you weren't kidding. She apparently takes the Lacey part seriously.
28
"You're going to be the last [single woman] standing." Ohhh, the horror! The unspeakable pain of being a single woman over thirty! No such female has ever survived such aaaaagony!

I know that most rom-coms aren't distinguished by their progressive view of gender roles, but the female lead in this one seem even more desperate for a guy (any guy) than usual.
29
Wait, this is real? I was expecting a mashup of Cristian Mingle commercials made to look like a movie trailer. (And even wondered whether eHarmony would be funnier.)

Cow Manure Fetish Man didn't make me sick. This did.
30
...and another thing: at one point in the trailer, one of the female lead's friends says, in a voice of shocked disapproval, "But you met him online!"

Is that supposed to be unusual?

31
Waiting for Corbin Bersen: my eight thousand cold balls documentary. Musical?
32
If I didn't know about Christianity, I would totally love this. But now that I know? That dude is a self-righteous lamer.
33
Clearly I'm late to the party, but has no-one seen Funny or Die's "The Gay Christian Mingle"?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ7bJdsi…

I stumbled across it when I was looking up "Christian Mingle" on IMDB.
34
There's gotta be a drinking game in here somewhere.
35
True fact: Corbin Bernsen played the Easter Bunny in an episode of SNL that he hosted in spring 1990, to Jon Lovitz's "Hannukah Harry". Perhaps that role inspired him to make this film.
36
I'd guessed that Mr Bernsen's wandering into a role on Seventh Heaven was just part of his Not Having Aged Well, but this certainly makes just as much sense.
37
@4, @5, @17, and Dan.

Christian Minge, surely?
38
Aww, the trailer totally gives away the ending!
39
She looks appropriately Jewish (but mainstream cute) to signal "lost soul" among the cast of WASPs plus token black lady with opinions who's only ever at work.
40
Holy SHIT, that looks awful!!! How desperate are those actors for a gig?
@20: Check out the '70s TV sit-com "Bridget Loves Bernie" for the inter-religion/drama-with-the-Jewish-in-laws scenario.
41
very nice movie trailers curious to watch the movie.http://gamisonline.com
