My review of "Out of the Furnace"

It's time for Hollywood to play Working Class people. Real, really, really real working class people. People who spend all day drinking, fighting, going to the mill, punching women, going to jail, going to the mill, getting fired from the mill, watching the mill close down. This son of Deer Hunter doesn't leave a trick out of the playbook for Hollywood Working Class drama. I bet all these big name stars took paycuts because the subtitle of this film was Oscar Nomination. You know what I'd like to see? Just once set a Working Class film in a Southern town with a prosperous non-union Toyota factory making brand new pickup trucks. What would that be like? It would have to be a comedy with Seth Rogen and no chance of an academy award. They'd never do it.

There was an issue of What If? in which Jane Foster found the stick that turned her into Thor. She called herself Thordis, I think after a character from the stories of her childhood. I don't remember much about that issue, but here's some stuff I found online about this:
