The fact that most of us were probably introduced to Grey Poupon through the ad with the two very old rich men trading condiments through the windows of their respective Rolls Royces makes this all the more fun. (The one that this skit is spoofing.)

Years ago I wrote (in my mind) a version of the classic commercial with Truman Capote and Tom Selleck.

Truman simpers: "Pardon me… Do you have any Grey Poupon?"

Selleck, with his trademark exasperation: "No! And stop bothering me!"

Truman, with a head-toss: "Well! Poupon you, you beast!"
