.. god you and megan are SO on top of things. i'm seeing cake confections everywhere, which troubles me because none of the variations of cake confections come from places that were ever good at making cake - not even 'snack' cakes - an oxymoron because true cake is much more than a snack. and bad cake is always a must to avoid. but, dag if didn't get suck into this big ole display of the latest line from russell stover cake-y candies. they come in at least 7 flavors. white chocolate wedding cake truffle, and white chocolate carrot cake truffle sound horrid on every level, and would you buy a snack package of ' delicious sugar free birthday cake drenched in a smooth sugar free milk chocolate' ? but they got me with the dark chocolate red velvet cake truffle . at least the display motivated me to try one out, but damn, that turned out to be some ugly tasting shite. do you like this sort of thing ?

I'm just going to pause here and take a quick moment to reflect on how awesome Riz is. Love you.

@1 - RIZ!! You ate that thing!! Oh man, yes, I totally tried that. I think I made Dom try it, too - it tastes gritty! Doesn't it say it has cake batter or something in the ingredients? But more like the powdered cake mix you buy at the store… mixed with clay and covered in chocolate. Hahaha Russell Stover is always such a crapshoot. I think I have referred to them as the Wet N' Wild brand of candies—a makeup brand that occasionally has good 99¢ eyeliner, but otherwise, don't fuck with it ;)

So is Nashville cool? I'm guessing they don't have Apodments.

I think party cake means funfetti, MY FAVORITE THING.

Ooo, I tried those party Peeps at Easter time. They had them at Bartell's and they were amazing.

I don’t really like Molly Moon Ice Cream but I do love the Birthday Cake flavor! Oh and that Birthday Cake drink, that is yummy too.
Cake conjurs up memories of happy times, its no surprise the corporate food schmucks are trying to capitalize on it
