Not very impressive. Rather wimpy, in fact. Tries to say the right things to vaguely appeal to both the corporate (donation) overlords and the general public?

While it is true that the Republican party overtly acts as a tool of corporate interests, the Democratic party is just as willing to be bought and would be just as much of a tool if they could generate some corporate interest in buying them.

What do we need to know? Democratic Party controlled legislators and Governors have presided over the massive defunding of K-12 and especially Higher Ed for 20 years now. They haven't championed education in the statehouse. That includes Ed Murray. What does it really matter what the platform says?

Who cares about the Dems these days? Vote Socialist if you want Real Just Change in both city hall, county hall, and the state house. --- http://www.broadleft.org (L) .
