Best news! Congrats!

And cheers to second-rate thieves (that sleep with your camera on the street) and give up on pesky padlocks!
2
Awesome! I hope everything is indeed intact, and that you have no further issues getting to your new home.

There was another incident last weekend where a guy moving to town from Minnesota had his U-Haul stolen from the parking lot of the Bellevue Hilton. They found the truck in Tacoma with the lock broken and many of his things gone. Hopefully it's a good sign that the lock in this case is in intact.

Obviously we now are invested in this story - updates are mandatory.

That would be terrific news!

And yes, here's to idiots who steal locked trucks, but don't have enough common sense to invest $20 for a decent pair of bolt cutters.

Potential good news is welcome.

Still, I'm gobsmacked at the idea the thieves knew how to steal a truck but not how to break a lock. Unless maybe they saw this particular theft was getting attention in social media and ditched quickly?

Excellent news. I hope the follow-up info is just as good!
8
Was the padlock broken? How did they get the stuff out, without opening the lock?

@8:

I guess their lock-picking skills were better than their upper arm strength.

Sad news indeed.
