Yeah, that won't happen. Backup tapes, drives, etc. sit in places like Iron Mountain for a reason.

One day... One day... there was a fire at the courthouse.

Wonder if anyone will get THAT reference?

Ken, given the rising cost of everything, paying what is owed will leave many people endlessly broke, stuck in ruts, and not contributing to their local economy. The cost of higher Ed outpaced wages so grotesquely, and many of the jobs that people got their degrees for were shipped overseas. Everyone born after 1965 was given a steady stream of go to college propaganda from junior-high (if not earlier) on, while the trades were barely discussed and the people in the trades were routinely demeaned.
Tuition debt is one of the many ways in which our societies way of life has been made unsustainable. We are bankrupt and people like you won't admit it.

Ken, first off, not everyone who can't pay their loans made a bad choice. Most people aren't economic forecasters, they couldn't see the changes coming. Second, your Game of Thrones metaphors is stupid, because the people losing the game of real life aren't losing their lives.
Re read my post. Does the cost of tuition riding faster than wages, the collapse of the global economy, and the rapid rise in the cost of living really mean nothing to you?
If college loans don't get paid it is only the bankers who lose. Since they spent so much money on bribes, I mean lobbying, for many policies that created our financial crisis, let them be the ones to take a hit for a change. Let them know what it's like to have to choose which bills to pay and not pay so they can have enough gas in the tank to get to work, and have food.
Ken, once again you show yourself to have no clue what is really going on on the human level. You sir, are part of the problem!

@ Ken
Crushing student debt is a very large and a very real problem. I don't think you will find the solutions on a tv show.

Ken is a self-admitted troll, not sure why anyone bothers replying to him...

We stopped giving a shit about the social contract since, well, the Reagan Administration.

"... if some clever hacktivists figured out a way to scrub digital mortgages and student loans from bank databases, their names would go down in history."

And should they so choose, their feet would never have to touch the ground again. There's a whole generation of Americans who were misled by colleges with completely fabricated industry placement rates that would be only too happy to parade them around on their shoulders.

Please wait...
