Would it really be too much for Darling Ricky to surprise us with a self-immolation protest on the courthouse steps?
2
Danny thinks about Rick way way more than Rick thinks about Danny.

it really isn't fair....
3
... and oral sex. I'm waiting waiting for Rick to pick up the ball and join the crusade against marital blow jobs.
5
Soon enough these self-loathing sex-haters will succeed in curtailing reproductive rights and when they do, they'll awaken the clueless who've grown up taking these things for granted. Their game only works when they are forever able to inveigle against the eternal enemy.

@2 and @4 thinks way more about Danny than Danny thinks about @2 and @4.

It really isn't fair.

Will @2 and @4 ever get that romantic evening alone with Danny that he so secretly and obviously craves (though he would never admit it to anyone--least of all himself)?

back at you sport.

trolling an anonymous troll?

really?

aim higher.

@3 Santorum is on the record as saying that non-procreative sex and contraception are against God's plan, and that, as president, they are issues he would want to address.

That takes in all sex acts between partners of the same gender, and a great many acts performed by partners of different genders. Including marital blowjobs.

This from the party of "small government."
10
May Ricky be half as successful with his anti-contraceptives campaign as he's been with his anti-marriage-equality one.
11
Some people are always looking for enemies.
12
@9:

Make that ALL forms of radical religious fundamentalism, and I might just agree with you for once.
13
Rick Santorum is too busy thinking about bestiality and pedophilia to comment on marriage equality.
14
@9 As hard as it may be for you to believe, the biggest danger to us here in the United States is not the Islamic Sharia law types, but the Christian Dominionists. They've made great strides in the last 25 years and are continuing to increase their influence. There are a number of prominent elected Republicans who count themselves among them, including governors and senators, and the military chaplaincy is infested with them.

While I certainly don't approve of fundamentalism of any stripe, we need to recognize actual, concrete, rising threats to our republic with clear eyes. The fact that these people count themselves as Christians does not make them compatible with our American way of life. Try identifying less with adopted labels and more with ideals and principles.
15
Maybe, he just hasn't told his wife yet that he has to divorce her and get gay married because, well, you know, it's the law.
16
@9: You show your own bigotry when you suggest that it is only radical Islam that is dangerous.

Personally, due to their power and local influence, I am much more concerned about radical Christians stomping on individual liberties here at home.
17
Looks like Seattleblues' tongue is tied too.
18
oh you girls, the answer is dangling right in front of you!

it is humanist fundamentalism that is gutting this civilization.

rejecting innate gender roles and undermining Traditional Heterosexual Marriage have produced increasingly dysfunctional generations of American'ts.

as Danny wins American Civilization loses.

enjoy your Gommorah. while you can....

19

hey......we see what you did there.

Laughing to Gommorah!!

we LOVE it!
21
I'm just glad it wasn't a choice between either marriage equality for PA or Santorum shutting the hell up. That would have been a tough call. Fortunately, we have both.
22
Gay marriage is taking us no closer to the mythical "Gommorah" than did mixed race marriage.

And yes, we absolutely love it!

23
@18 - I know we're not supposed to answer trolls, but serious thought question for you: will your "god" die when nobody is left to believe in him? You know, the god who will hand us over to his own rebellious creation (that, despite being omnipotent, he can't seem to destroy), to torture for eternity? Civilization is not dying at the hands of secular humanists - it's being freed from the shackles of a dying vengeful OT "god". I know you fearful children fear death more than anything...what is it like watching your "god" die?
24
>"Santorum described him as “highly qualified to assume the important role of Judge and the duty of protecting the Constitution and ensuring the effective operation of our judicial system.”

Which meant, "He thinks like me."

But now we can say, "He thinks."
25
I know there have been lots of jokes about Rick Santorum possibly being a closet case, but I'm beginning to seriously wonder if he's asexual.
26
It's "Gomorra" (Γόμορρα) you idiot. And that story has nothing to do with homosexuality, anyway.
27
The "idiot" being the troll, in case that wasn't obvious.
28
While it is most likely that Santorum declined to comment for strategic reasons, I might give him credit for knowing when he has lost. If only NOM, et al. would do the same, we would all be better off.
29
Radical [insert religion here]. Somehow that is not politically correct these days. Very sad, and a sign of increased brainwashing.

Such people cannot fathom the danger we're in unless all things radical [Christian] are first addressed.
30
He wasn't silent when he called me on the phone the other day. Well, it was a recording, and it was garbled in the middle), but the lady who wished to know if I would like to make a donation afterwards was live. Unfortunately for her I did not.

Rick didn't mention gay marriage though. All he wanted to talk about was how Republicans created all those jobs in the 80s and balanced all those budgets in the 90s.
31
This is what it looks like when a politician changes his mind. He shuts the fuck up, because otherwise everyone's going to jump on him for changing his mind. That's what people *voted for him to do:* Never change your mind in the face of colossal evidence.
32
@19 and 22
I love you !!!
33
@2 Oh the irony. Thanks for the laugh.
34
When is the republican party going to wake up and realize that they are not in this century? How many more people have to be killed by restricting gun control? At 10% of the population (at least) of gay persons, when do these idiots finally come to conclusion that they have been wrong all these years? The republicans are appealing to the ignorant southern voters who will most certainly be in the minority soon. They don't have the hispanic vote, they don't have the black vote, they don't have the gay vote, all they have are the wealthy mindless volvo drivers who are few and far between now.

Please wait...
