I am awaiting notice from all urban property owners in coastal cities.

My offer is valid and verified by the Publishers' Clearinghouse

1 cent per acre for property between 0 to 3 meters above sea level.

actually that clock was run out before homoLiberals even made it up.

Climate changes.

Always has, Always will.

suck it, you ignorant Chicken Little morons.

It really disturbs me to hear his audience laughing. There's absolutely nothing funny about the growing scientific consensus, the inevitable collapse of the west antarctic ice shelf, the record heat in SoCal. Love Colbert, but I wonder sometimes if the net effect of his show is to make us all feel better about doing jack shit while the Republicans set the agenda.

Oh, and @2 - climate denier trolls like you are about on the same moral level as Sandy Hook truthers- worse even, because the stakes are higher - ignoring facts so you can cling to your self-interested world view. How many scientists have to tell you that the current change in climate is not supported by natural causes before you catch on? Will you really miss burning oil so much? Do you not like the way solar electricity tastes or something? We are all going to die - eventually - those of us paying attention would just prefer it not be from famine and drought we could have avoided. Sacrifice and change are scary, but they sure beat the alternative. I'd rather use my head to kiss my SUV goodbye than bury it in the sand.

@2: Last time you said that, I explained to you how you were an idiot, you tried to change the subject, and then avoided the issue entirely and tried to talk shit about how the liberal cities would take it the worst. I can say with perfect certainty:
ur a faget

I assume the Stranger is paid by Viacom for these autoplaying videos. Autoplay sucks.
6
@5 Most browsers have a built-in option to disable autoplay. Use it.

lets see where we are;

the seas ARE rising.

and those Liberal Cesspools WILL flood.

right?
9
@8: More like coastal Florida and Louisiana will flood. The only major city in the USA really endangered directly by rising sea levels is New Orleans. Places like Chicago and New York and San Francisco will just have to spend more money maintaining their breakwaters and such.
Rural communities, of course, will be hard hit by the droughts and disruption of weather patterns, which are already taking a noticeable toll on American farmers. You may want to rethink your support for the world going to shit.

so we guess this means the Liberals will chill?

Please wait...
