So, Charles, you had a quota to fill or something? I expect the info in your posts to be cherry-picked, and your conclusions contrived, but what are you even trying to say here?

"Recently, in the University District, a white person yelled at someone and tried to hit them with their car. This white person was a white person from a mostly white town. Also, coal is bad."

Was the victim Caucasian too? I can only assume so, because you went out of your way to point out how exceptionally white the suspect was. And you never neglect to mention whenever a victim is a POC.

Oh...and one other thing: There are also plans moving forward to restart the John Henry No.1 coal mine in Black Diamond as well.

Coal mining looks once again to be back in Black Diamond - and I think that's the best news in a long time.

I used to live a block away from there.

Some crazy shit would go on in the Chevron parking lot and especially the parking lot on the north end of the block at 50th, Safeway and Jack in the Box.
An intersection of junkies, frat boys, and people like me just trying to get to the store to get some beer before 2am and without any fucking drama.

There isn't any actual news value in this story, Charles.

100% pointless. Why does anything in this post matter in any way? It seemed like, for a second, you were trying to make a point. Why not just make it? Are you trying to be edgy by hinting at the ethnic makeup of a certain town and then not drawing any conclusions?

Is this a thought experiment to see what conclusions readers would draw themselves? To see if someone would accuse you of reverse racism for mentioning what percentage of white people live in Black Diamond? To see how mad people would get because your post didn't make any sense?

I wish I got paid to smoke weed and write all my pointless thoughts on the blog of a prominent weekly.
