Weinstein should have accepted the offer.

I'm glad we can call Putin crazy and be done with it. Russia's actions are despicable, but there is a rational. In *The Fog of War* Robert McNamara, the secretary of Defense under Kennedy&Johnson, said that the Vietnam war was a result of a colossal lack of empathy. If American politicians and generals had just put themselves in the shoes of the Vietnamese, he is certain that the combat would have deescalated; instead we labeled them 'crazy'.
NATO is swallowing up it's neighbors, putting in "missile defense", and we now have troops stationed closer to Moscow then ever in history. Russia was invaded by America before because we didn't like their politics. They see themselves as a lone beacon for traditional values as the West dramatically expands civil rights for queer families. They lost their despot in Ukraine and now we have ours in place. What if that had happened in Mexico? Have some perspective y'all.

Did you guys see the Trail Blazers game yesterday?

Amazing right.

Too bad we don't have Medium Speed Rail to Portland.

They could be our team too.

Good idea...looks like no one's selling tickets for Game 5.

But if they lose Wednesday and go to Game 6 there's tickets as cheap as $95.

I could probably even figure out a way to do it with Cascades Amtrak.
