15 Now = 15 restaurants in Seattle, that's all that will survive.

Actually signature gathering not starting today, setting up action groups is. Gathering likely start may 24 for five weeks. Join an action group today to get training and ORGANIZE.

$10.10 is very reasonable. Why are the Sawantanistas so unreasonable?
4
The 1968 mw adjusted for inflation is 10.75. It is not reasonable.to pay less. Adjusted for productivity its 15. Therefore 10.10 cheats workers by almost ten thousand a year. It is unreasonable to cheat a worker by ten thousand a year. In fact it is immoral.

This whole debate can be properly explained if you listen to Dori Monson 12-3 on KIRO-FM - he will tell you that you should pull yourself up by your bootstraps and make your own $15. Don't let the man dictate your wage - do it yourself, people! Easier than you think...kshama sNOT!

Who's this Dori Monson chick? I'd never heard of her before last week, but now her name seems to keep popping up here.

"Here in Seattle, where we don't fuck around..."

You must be new here. Seattle is absolutely legendary for fucking around forever.

Why did Obama stand down when ATF and FBI agents were ready to arrest Bundy?

Why did they not open fire on his armed gang?

Has this ever happened when raiding a crack house in East L.A.?

Why is Bundy, a tax evader, and a person who brought armed force against federal law enforcement, walking around a free man?

Why does Obama let him run free when he's a criminal?

@4

Can you explain to me how a burger flipper in 2014 is 50% more efficient and productive at flipping burgers than a burger flipper of 1968?

Fact is - some jobs have not changed over the years - which kinda shoots down your whole "workers be more productive now"bullshit. The occupations that have seen huge gains in productivity over the years are not ones that pay minimum wage you dolt.

@9

Keep calling minimum wage workers "burger flippers". Put "burger flipper" on your 'No on Charter Amendment 20' signs. The more contempt you guys show for the workers at the bottom of the wage scale, the easier it will be to pass $15/hr.

Thanks for the raise.

you must be pretty incompetent and lack any real skills if you need a "vote" just to get to $15 an hour. Pretty pathetic really if you think about it.

glad I'm not you.

also notice you could not address the whole productivity issue - I know, its because you can't.

Please wait...
