I voted no. Thanks for reminding me a regressive tax was on the ballot.
2
"I don't have a stamp."
What's never said but always understood is that USPS will deliver ballots without stamps. As they should.
3
@2 with postage due by King County, but yea

Not to be snarky, but "there's" is a contraction of "there is," so should not be followed by plural objects such as "three hours" or "way more locations" (I'll leave that last phrase alone).
@1, I hate a regressive tax as well, but in this case would rather keep my bus route and pay more for my idle car than make a political statement with my ballot. For me at least, it would be cutting off my nose to spite my face.
5
Also, if my bus is cut, I'll pay far more than $60 a year (to the city) to park my car near work, not to mention the increased congestion, environmental impacts, etc. I'm guessing I'm not alone.
6
There's nothing more annoying than a cheapskate hiding behind tender concern for the poor.
7
Thanks for reminding me about the drop boxes!

@2, what better way to say "f you" to king county for their special ballot with one item on it than returning it marked no with postage due.

Remember to thank Mayor Murray while you're at it. The guy who was elected to represent the best interests of All N&C Seattle voters including bus riders and then went to Olympia and totally took his eye off the ball & let Seattle voters down by spending every last penny of his dubious political capital to get a Gay Marriage prop passed, which while a net good to about 6% or less of King County citizens (if 12% are LGBTQ & 1/2 those want to marry a partner), is not affecting nearly as many folks as the total flop of Senator Murray not getting the job done on Metro Funding while he was supposed to be working on behalf of the citizens whom he then begged to vote for him as mayor. I thought McGinn sucked as mayor, but already I know I made the right choice, voted & worked for Steinbruek, then held my nose & voted against Murray. He doesn't even have the leadership to get this tax passed that would not have been necessary if he'd done his damn job in Oly Last Year. Idiots

Please wait...
