I think you mean "delays announcing" his decision.

Probably made it.

regrettable that a similar process did not play out last week with Cody Spafford

Uh. If Cody Spafford would've barricaded himself in his own god damned house — then, yeah, it might've had a "similar process."

Instead he was an at-large armed jonseing junkie fleeing through a neighborhood.

It's also annoying that saying he's a 'cherished chef' before mentioning that he was a bank robber implies that the SPD should have treated him any differently than any other citizen.

It was SPD's responsibility to capture him peacefully whether he could cook or not.

If only Ted Bundy had been a cherished oyster shucker.

They didn't shoot the guy with the machete? SPD's making progress!

Watch him "pick" Harry Bailey. Like Bush "picked" Cheney to be his VP.

@9 called it before I could. "[A] collaborative leader who values social justice, who values community engagement and public accountability" is how Bailey was described when he was appointed interim chief. "Interim Chief Bailey? That's Chief Bailey, punk."

Well, at least after making his "most important decision" as mayor on May 19, Mayor Murray can take a well deserved breather and phone it in for the next 7-1/2 years of his time in office.

@11, if only he would.

Please wait...
