Man those people are nuts. Can anyone explain the rationale behind states refusing federal Medicaid funds? Uncle Sam is basically saying "here, I'm giving you a cool $10 billion to help you get your citizens covered" and Republican governors are refusing it because...?

really, no idea? when the idea is as simple as "A. keep throwing shit on Obamacare until something sticks and B. keep the House and take the Senate in 2014", that's what party discipline looks like.

They're in a difficult position what with it being their plan and all. It would be clever ninjitsu on the part of the President except that his abandoned campaign platform was way better. Instead he's in the amusing place of defending the Republican plan from Republican attacks.
