@1- Is that really the name of the second book? What is the 3rd? Detergent?

@2: Book 3 was "Allegiant". But it might as well have been called "I Hate It". (If you read book 3's Amazon reviews, folks excoriated the conclusion to the trilogy.)

When something is compared unfavorably to the Hunger Games, you know we've hit rock bottom.

I almost made it to the first bolded sentence before I lost interest. The fact that the still looks like it comes from one of those "Not Another [Fad]" movies kind of stacked the deck against it though.

Had no interest in either the Hunger Games nor Divergent, but went to see both with someone who liked the books. I found "Divergent" to be a better film - less ridiculous - than "Hunger Games", but I see the appeal to teenage girls. Tris was also more badass than Katniss.
I wiki'd both trilogies and found the ending of both to be unsatisfactory to my tastes and am glad I chose to sit through a popcorn movie than slog through a popcorn book. More power to those who love either series, though.
