Actually, the ever-annoying Gia asked 'What's a Tony?, not 'What's a Tony Award', and given the mush-mouthed context I didn't understand what Trinity was saying either.
2
The she-male thang was super offensive.

Although I like April, Trinity really earned her week's stay with that lipsynch. Turns out she's good at at at least one thing.

Gia is dumber than a box of rocks. We may all put our pants on one leg at a time in the morning, but I have a hard time believing Gia doesn't put both feet in the same pant leg at least four days a week.

@4 - It's not just that she's stupid, but that she has all the confidence in the world that she has it all figured out and buttoned up. Watching Untucked, the moment that killed me was when she attempted to lecture Milk on what drag is and isn't, and she took umbrage when someone tried to suggest that maybe there are forms of drag that Gia Gunn doesn't personally know about. I don't know her exact words, but she said that "ignorant" was the very worst thing you could call someone.

And that just calls her vocabulary into question even further if "ignorant" is the worst she can do.

They've been calling it "She-Mail" for 6 seasons, and you're just now getting offended?

With that said, I would tend to agree, the whole thing came off ignorant. Ellen got clocked for less with her Liza Minelli joke at the Oscars.

@4 and @5: Not just stupid and confident, also mean-spirited. She really lost me when she commented on Darienne, 'there's room for everybody' last week. Gross. So, we have the trifecta: mean, stupid, and confident.

Maybe we need a special version of All Stars with just the mean girls competing. I would watch the hell out of that!

Best.episode.yet. Ben, Courtney, and Milk sold it big time.

I'm glad you are coming around to Bianca. I'm loving her.

Trinity totally did sell that lip sync. I thought she was gone for sure but April just STOOD THERE.

And ugh, please let Gia go next week. PLEASE!

@7 - I usually chalk that up to someone being too stupid to tell the difference between sharp-edged humor (Bianca) and just being a giant bitch. Somewhere along the line, Gia Gunn confused the two, and has now convinced herself that she's witty.

@8 - Next week is Snatch Game, so really, who the hell knows. The comedy queens should be fine, but ultimately, it'll come down to which of the others didn't come prepared with a celebrity to impersonate.
12
@11 It's not weird at all. With Bianca it's an intentional part of her schtick, and with Gia it's because she's a mean-spirited idiot.
15
@13 - The trouble is that comedy is hard. Last season, when Roxxxy Andrews was picking on Jinkx Monsoon, it wasn't funny, doubly so when she was trying to be funny about it (see the puppet mini challenge). There is a difference between bitchy jokes and just a bitch. And to extend that even further, Jinkx Monsoon is incredible because she manages to be funny without being mean at all.

There are a lot of things that separate Bianca's and Gia's jokes. For starters, Bianca is smart, witty, and a little cruel. Gia is cruel, but without the wit or substance to back it up. Bianca makes it clear that when she talks shit about people in her act, she doesn't mean it: it's comedy. Gia sees a fat person walk into the room, and that's hilarious enough for her to mention as a joke itself.
16
@13 in simpler terms, Bianca is trying to be funny. Gia is trying to be a bitch.
17
@16 - Thing is, I think Gia thinks she's funny.
19
@17 Well yikes. If that's the case, I dislike Gia even more.
20
@18 - Indeed it is subjective, and we clearly disagree abou Gia's wit. Someday, we'll manage to objectively define comedy, but in the meantime, we'll have to agree to disagree.

But if this thing Gia is doing is schtick, she's really selling it hard (though I'll admit the "read for that hair" line is the only line I've liked out of her).

lip-synch for their lives to Chaka Kahn’s "I’m Every Woman" (huh, I always thought Whitney Houston sang that).

SERIOUSLY?

What is wrong with the gay chirrens? They know NOTHING of their history. Not Tony awards, not music up in da club, NOTHING.

I weep that all of gayness will be left in the hands of these chirrens.

I like Gia a little bit... like I respect the Kardashians. People are talking about them. Who cares when this whole show is about attention. Never a fan of cruelty, and l LOVE Joselyn for defending her friend... but it was so entertaining to see Gia look like a mean girl with her hot (but dim) blonde best friend (Laganja) while the other two stood up for Milk.

Ben is my favorite too, and I am one of the few Adore fans. I like her! Courtney is so pretty!!

Please wait...
