Louis de Funès! A true comedy genius.

Heard about this movie years ago and forgot all about it; now I have to go find it.

@ 1 - It could be argued that Hadrian, who was openly gay, was the greatest Roman emperor ever; he expanded the empire to its furthest reaches and did many other crucial things (which were unfortunately undone by his successors) for its long-term prosperity. Alexander the Great's exploits are also well known, as is his rather openly fluid sexuality. Neither of these men can be said to have brought about the downfall of their civilization. But, since you are as ignorant of history as of everything else (you think Alexander was in the closet!!!), you can reach whatever conclusions you like based on your prejudices; they will still only be the misguided mumblings of a diseased mind.

who are you talking to?

@ 6 - The question, really, is who are YOU talking to. The answer, of course, is: just yourself. A sad, pathetic little POS.

You're on the wrong thread, in case you hadn't noticed. (Of course you didn't; you'd need a brain for that.)

Didn't expect to find Louis De Funès here.

Thanks bareboards :-)

I've never seen that movie, seems I have some catching up to do !

@sirkowski

Why ? de Funès participated in several comical movies about/with nazis characters, the most prominent of which was "la grande vadrouille". And with his snappy style, he usually played the overbearing/sadistic/unlikeable boss. Or the racist bigot forced to disguise himself as a rabbi...

Please wait...
