So, was this just a stunt by AWP to strong-arm the City of Seattle into making the tax situation more favorable for them, or is it actually an onerous burden, one that should be revised permanently by the City?
@4, I think you're right. I think they were trying to get a special "this is what we'll pay the tax man for this conference" package. Selling passes to non-members already seemed to blow over the argument that it was about the general public sales making for special tax collections, unless the whole issue was if people had paid to get into the event (even as nonmembers) vs not.
