re:public is TOO FUCKING LOUD. terrible acoustic design (meaning there is none), like many, too many, restaurants in Seattle. makes me want to run screaming out of there.

Tilikum Place is delightful--but do they have enough room for the crowd?
BTW, letter writer, do NOT ever again say "a little unique". Unique means one of a kind. It does not mean cute or unusual or clever. Nothing can ever be "a little" unique, or "very" unique. Something is unique or it's not. Thanks.

Dragonfish. They cater events in The Paramount Hotel. They serve family style, which makes it great for an event like this.

@4: Mediocre and not real close to Pan Pacific.

Cuoco, Shanik, Cactus, Barolo, Miller's Guild.

@2: Local 360 has a back room? That's a great idea.

@6: Shanik and Miller's Guild would definitely be on the expensive side—maybe Cuoco and Barolo, too. And Cactus doesn't seem very special for a dinner like this to me, but to each their own...
