get that? the merger won't lower competition because already there isn't any. why shouldn't we conclude from this that not only shouldn't the merger be approved but that these companies need to be broken up? but no...because lobbyists and campaign 'contributions'.
Fuck the merger, I say take a hatchet to both of them like they did to ATT in the 80. Telco/Cable have been forming together like so much T1000 after it was frozen and shattered with nitrogen ever since. It's time to smash again!
