mittens jealous that he doesn't get to privatize public schools with us tax $ like obama, arne duncan, and the gates foundation: http://dianeravitch.net/
Because he's running again in 2016.
@4 Hillary is the frontrunner for the 2016 nomination, and at the point she actually declares, the Democratic primary race is essentially over. If she runs, she will be nominated. That gives me a bigger sad than a LOLcat denied a cheezburger, but that's the world we're living in.
Wait, even though Romney said it and even though I don't necessarily agree with his underlying reasons ... I do think that cities/countries spend too much creating Olympic venues. Not just in money, or money that could have been used for other things, but in environmental damage as well. And in homes bulldozed to make way for fancy stadiums that will be underused for decades to come. Etc. So yeah, I agree with Mittens that Olympic spending should be toned way down.
Romney has gone away. The problem is that Mr. Constant hasn't. Schadenfreude is fun and all, especially at Romney's expense, but he's kept alive with inane articles like this. Speaking of pissy editorials...
Didn't Rmoney "save" the SLC Olympics essentially by throwing government money at them to get things done? And then spend the rest of his political life bragging about how he "saved" the SLC Olympics? When I was growing up, a floater was something that wouldn't flush until it disintegrated, so I guess we're going to have to wait a while for him to go away if Paul's question was properly framed.
To answer Paul's rhetorical question at the end, I think his refusal to go away indicates his sense of entitlement (oh, sweet irony!) and his egotistical inability to accept that he lost something ON MERIT. In other words, he couldn't buy it or bully it into being his. His worldview and ego took a tremendous hit when confronted with this reality. It is not unlike many other white men who are flailing angrily; their entitlement, too, is being challenged and questioned, and they don't like it.
Said perfectly the first time, but worth reposting: Why can't Romney just go away?
Enough of this guy. Really. What the fuck is he up to? He's been crawling back into our media suddenly, in the past months and is clearly up to something. Or the boys over at LDS are running him for something. Christ - enough of this shitty man.
I wonder how Gay Dude for Raindrop will defend Romney this time.
GDFR, ever consider that perhaps it is because Clinton is actually a powerful and relevant person, the exact opposite of Romney?

Romney isn't a real republican...he's one of yours...just like Rush Limburger.

Romney is the other side of the Socialist-Centralization coin.
The Fed prints money and gives it to guys like Romney.
They do deals with it and the Government collects the taxes from capital gains.
The people who pay for it are the little guys working their butts off and putting it into 401ks, hoping to strike it rich.
Never heard of him.
Seattle 2022!
