12,000 years ago, when they had a nice shop on the Ave, they got my hard earned for nearly every gift (and there never -seemed- to be any returns...). is there any analysis as to why a place like Fireworks (for example) survives and La Tienda doesn't? ("volume, m'boy, ...volume")

@1, I adored that shop. Such a fantastic clutter to it. I assume the difference you describe has to do with ambition and markup.
