Good Morning Charles,
I read this in this morning's paper and was fascinated. My understanding is it needs to be confirmed (the exact number of days). Still, it's an epic survival story even if just a quarter of that time.

BTW, I highly recommend "All is Lost". A fine film released last year.

Yes, it's a metaphor for life. And you have to wonder if being cast adrift in an ocean isn't a metaphor for our planet as well. Or being cast adrift in a sea of time?
