I love love love this photo, and the thought of you doing it old school. Me, I'm doing a brisket in the pressure cooker.

@2 some stereotypes are . . . real. These are real Chicago types, though the accent is a bit over the top.
4
@1, pork roast in the oven. Too cold for the grill, and there's no TV out there.

That's the spirit, @4. It's 45° out there. Sure, it's sunny, but hypothermia is no joke. Indoors, aroma permeates the whole house, and I get to watch Howie Long tell Russell Wilson how proud his dad would be of him.

@5, yes, it's 45, but the idea is to keep it 68 in here, which means don't go tromping in in and out all afternoon tending a fire. Besides, if I go out to the grill, the birds all fly away from the feeder, and we're conducting an experiment to see if we can create the world's first ten-pound chickadee. I think we're about halfway there.

Chickadeedeedeedeedee....

State bird of Massachusetts! I love their call.

You don't want to grill for the Superbowl because birds? Jesus Christ
9
@3: I know it, man. I've spent almost my entire life in Cook County.

Seattle style? We celebrate by burning Pot Roast.
