I just couldn't watch Bamz lie his ass off again. I suppose it's catchier than telling 80% of Americans that the country no longer has anything to offer them cause it all got hoovered up by the Corporations and the 1%, but at this point he couldn't state the obvious even if he wanted to without becoming the next Zapruder film star.

@1: What did Obama lie about? People here know that I call Obama out on his lies every time I can. But I really didn't see him lying at all (probably since he didn't talk about the NSA or drones). There was only one thing that I saw that was pretty misleading (but not a lie): the US reduction in CO2. That statement requires context. Since the US was slow to start on reducing CO2 emissions, it was easier to make a larger reduction in a year than Europe. We aren't beating Europe on CO2 emission reductions if you look at the data over decades.

Boehner accidentally clapped for the Affordable Care Act at least once: the line about the mother finally being being able to afford asthma care for her wheezy child.

I love the three shades of color on their faces.. A left to right gradient. Why does Boehner like to be so dark????

Sometimes clapping is painful because of arthritis, so that should be taken into account.

Me and my wife listened to the SOTU and the red state responses last night. My wife said "what a bunch of bullshit" to the SOTU, but took it all back after the responses aired.
