I think she means that Mr. Obama needs to stop standing in solidarity with his black brothers and sisters and just let the Republicans disenfranchise them already.

@3 - I'm pretty sure what Sarah Palin means by "playing the race card" is "existing as a human being who is part black and yet has the cojones not to remain silently at the bottom of the social ladder for all of eternity."

I work with someone who's firmly of the belief that it has nothing to do with public opinion, and everything to do with who Big Money (usually Zionist Jews, funnily enough) picks for us all.

Perhaps it's because Big Money has picked a bunch of losing horses who, just coincidentally, are raging morons with big mouths. It's all part of their grand plan, yanno!

It's amazing that a woman whose nomination for national office was never predicated by experience or acumen and proved her worthlessness throughout the campaign would make any kinds of allegations regarding her perceptions of unqualified entitlement today.. or ever.

@2 There is nothing wrong with Palin. She is a stock, textbook intentional example of a demagogic fascist/falangist, rabble-rousing some sore-headed segment of the majority to elevate their hatred of some convenient scapegoat. These are the people who depose constitutional republics to "take back" a country for some notional majority identity-group.

She's fully functional for her intended purpose. Evil.

The way her comment is written, she could be saying that she will stop playing the race card. Read it again in that light: “Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card.” Sigh. If only that was actually what she meant. Thank you again, John McCain, for inflicting that idiot on the nation. "Responsible for Sarah Palin" should be engraved on his tombstone as his lasting legacy.

I'm pretty sure she's a psychopath. The 2009 Vanity Fair profile of her shows how she uses people, throws them away, and then is tone deaf when people are bewildered by her basic cluelessness about relationships.

I think she makes these types of nasty, sweeping statements because she truly doesn't feel the human emotions of empathy and shame. We're saved from a Palin presidency only because she's not a very bright psychopath.

As sad as it is, she's made a flippin' gold mine saying asinine stupid shit. Why would she stop? She's got a small but loyal fan base that will buy anything she gets someone else to write for her, who will send her money for no goddamned reason, and who will never ever question the obvious hypocrisies in her life and words. She's just another traveling preacher.

Since she quit her post in Alaska, Palin hasn’t run for public office but still plays the part of politician who calls her constituents “fans.” What exactly does she do other than essentially proposition her self and image to the highest bidder?
