Mix is probably the most forthright man in hip-hop. He raps about sex honestly and sincerely. He (as the character who narrates his pieces) is not disrespectful of women, but he's not looking for a relationship. He is objectifying women, but he's not a hater. He doesn't think women are inferior. He's not scared of women.
He just wants to get with them. Especially the ones that are little in the middle but pack much back.
I was so amused when this song hit it big. Posse on Broadway and Square Dance Rap were a big deal in suburban Seattle, but then, boom, there's Mix-A-Lot dancing on a giant butt on MTV.
