I'll take your word for it, Paul, that your congee was good, but it doesn't look very appetizing. Kinda looks like slop. Kinda looks like an early school day breakfast made by a drunk mom.

I hate to pile on, Paul dear, and I know that "downtown" lunch can be pricey. But still - $7.50 for a non-alcoholic beverage (which probably didn't even have free refills)? What's wrong with our glorious Cedar River water?

As for the book, isn't that the lady who writes books about teenage periods?
