No no no. Auntie Seattleblues explained this to me. Only other people get to determine an individual's gender. The individual has no say in what gender they are. And we all know she is always right.
2
Erm, we're Hoosiers, Dan. Although there is no definitive word on why they're called that.

And not all of us are narrow-minded small town fucks. Unfortunately, just like in WA, the rural legislators hold great sway.

I don't know what the legal specifics were, but a post-GRS, MTF friend of mine has a Texas driver's license that says "sex: F".

As a bonus the lawyer who did the paper work and handled the court appearance was her wife [married pre-transition].

Don't tell me that Texas is more progressive than Indiana...

@3 The only thing that Texas is progressive at is there are more F-250 Ford pickup trucks than anywhere else in the world.

Mr Ophian - I think I saw a list once of states where one had to marry pre-transition, states where one had to marry post-transition, and states where those of the trans persuasion couldn't marry honestly either way. I suppose now there would also be states where there would be no impediment either way; I'd like to see a Now and Then map.

Indiananans actually prefer the gender-neutral term "Hoosier", which literally means "who's hir?"
7
@6 Hoosier is actually short for "who's yer daddy?"
8
@7 Patriarchalist.
9
dammit Indiana. >_< I really dislike when my state is doing shit like this.
10
The state of my birth is always finding ways to make me ashamed of my Hoosierness.

2, Sadly almost all of us are narrow minded small town fucks. Except of course the narrow minded larger town fucks. The Mississippi of the Midwest. The Witless on the Wabash.

Please wait...
