How very salacious: Administration disagreement.

I know, just in time for John blood and guts McCain. He and his war monger wing of the war monger wing want us back in Iraq losing more blood and treasure because they fucked it up so badly.
3
They told him the strategy was failing at accomplishing...what exactly? We don't even know what the goal is, other than to "win". Maybe they don't either.
4
Want to win?

Ship all the troops out & don't tell anyone

Then declare Victory and tell MSM they have to rescue their own reporters
5
@3 mostly field testing of new weapons systems, actually

I don't know why you're complaining Paul. It's a memoir of someone who served both Republican and Democrat administrations. As it stands now, it's an historical record - no doubt subject to debate. But let the facts be as they may. No president is perfect. I really don't know why you're in tizzy over this.

No Biden fan here, but it seems like Gates' opinion of the VP's policy acumen more accurately fits Darth Cheney.
9
It will still be served with a garnish of reheated Benghazi-gate.
10
And what foreign policies was Gates right about, exactly?

The fall of the Soviet Union? Nope.

Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait? Nope.

The rise of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan? Nope.

Pakistan selling nuclear technology? Nope.

The disastrous invasion and occupation of Iraq? NOPE. NOPE. NOPE!

Gate was an incompetent right-wing boot licker. Fuck him.

Damn that Ben Ghazi.

Please wait...
