I've gotta stop wiki-ing stuff. This guy wrote a children's book and got Jane Goodall to write the foreword, as it was based on her "idea for people around the world to make peace dove puppets that can glide every September 21"?

You don't say. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dana_Lyons

Alan Lobdell opposes GMO and supports labelling.

Vote Lobdell for King County Executive and get the bad guys out of City Impossible!

Wow.

Don't you think they made it look ridiculous on purpose? that's they way i saw it. I think they could have made it less dorky if they wanted to. You have to try to look that lame...

It is generally true in political campaigns that your support is more difficult to manage than your opposition.

The Pro-522 lobby makes a parody video about how they think scientists making GMOs act and you post like it's been put together by the No on 522 group ?

I've seen some awful parody material from the westboro baptist church of my old friend Paul's work. Would I say their photoshopped thing was Pauls ?

Reading more slowly... ok, that's the point. It's an idiotic video that we've all given far too much attention to by watching once.

We all know what he means by “peas and carrots”, right?
11
no fucking way.

There's no animal genes in GMOs. Total tin-foil hat crackpot.

I believe they convinced me.

Dana Lyons wrote this song that was the first runner-up for being nominated the "State song of Washington", about nuclear waste, etc.

@8: "The Pro-522 lobby makes a parody video about how they think scientists making GMOs act and you post like it's been put together by the No on 522 group ?"

Yes, exactly. What's your point?

Idiots filled to the brim with pseudoscience are why persons like me are absolutely unconvinced about why this fearmongering is required.

I do not support monsanto's business policy. I also do not like the naturalistic fallacy. When the latter and anti-science views are pushed more than the former, I'm going to have an overwhelmingly negative view of the legislation and the backers.

Silly on purpose? Dana Lyons? could be.... could very well be... I love that guy...
19
I liked it. Sexy!
20
I love it! It is dorky, funny and has the potential to go viral. Dana Lyons is a genius!

Oh, this is just terrible. Far more effective would be a single spaced 30 page footnoted article.Or a 30 second political ad that has been vetted by being shown to 37 focus groups carefully selected by highly paid progressive Democratic political consultants who wear gray flannel under their GoreTex.

Please wait...
