Don't really care about Tony Scott movies (aside from Domino, which was horrible enough to be enjoyable) but American Psycho could only be a hilarious failure. There's no way any of the dark humor would show through tolerably over the span of several seasons, the writing isn't going to be anywhere near as clever.

M*A*S*H and Alice sure were terrible. Oh, wait, they were awesome!

This concept isn't new. Folks with money greenlight things they think people will recognize. And they're usually right. People watch things they've heard of.

If American Psycho is like The Wonder Years meets Dexter, it will be fine.

If Man on Fire is like Fresh Prince meets West Wing, it will be fine.

I don't have time to read this... I have to go return some videotapes.

At least it's not another dozen "reality" shows or singing/dancing contests.

We should turn SLOG posts into e-books, and paper books into slide shows.

It's hardly a new idea. Buffy premiered, what? Fifteen years ago?

Oh great, now we get an ongoing series of women being hacked up, every damn week.

With zero allusions to capitalism.

Please wait...
