Officers sign their names to these kinds of charges in huge numbers, especially at demonstrations, hoping to get people to plead out, but mainly just to fuck with people because they and the police department never suffer any consequences or backlash for the lies, even when they are revealed to be lies after they have given sworn testimony at trial. I have never heard one single police officer apologize for this regular occurrence by those on the force. They are all tainted as corrupt by their complicity.
@5: So in your world, breaking windows is violent thuggery and perjury about the manner in which someone was taken to the ground---falsely accusing that person of causing physical harm to another person---is police transgression?
@5 er dude crime, all crime, well other then white collar crime, but you know street crime and burglaries, are pretty much at their historic lows nationwide. So wtf are you going on about?
#4 Couldn't agree more. Not only in this situation but in many others the SPD will go dumb and stupid and lie to cover for one another.
Just a note beyond this: if a citizen asks our now said Mayor and the two City council-members running for Mayor or the City Attorney for help and or intervention about SPD officers inappropriate and unprofessional actions and behaviors don't expect any help from them as they will respond I/we don't have the time or don't get involved in such matters.
So this might be a 'little insight' as to why it has gotten to where things are regarding the SPD.
Last night I listen to one such member on the City council running for Mayor and they stated people are tired of the same old same. That's true, but my question is Where are the people running that will give us the new?
Any chance that articles on violent thugs might out number articles about police transgressions?
I'm so glad there are more dash-cams and officer lapel-cams in the world. More please!
