I don't remember ever seeing Little Edie with makeup slathered on, besides some drawn-on eyebrows to replace the ones that fell out. Doesn't look very Little Edie-ish. That is all.
2
Good concept, though, yes. Not trying to be all critical. Just noticed that.
3
Don't fret, and I imagine the un-Edie-ish makeup is part of a show involving different looks/characters/quick-changes for the performers....

Love!

Yeah, I thought about that right after I posted. Where's the delete key? :)

I am not from Seattle, so Drag Race has been my first introduction to Jinkx - I am COMPLETELY smitten. She is the total package, adorable, charming, funny, and really versatile. I will be SO ANGRY if she doesn't win!

It takes 1-2 hours (if not more for some people) to do drag paint and hair. It also requires letting it sit and cook on one's face before blending and finishing. That's not including costume which can take a half hour start to finish.

She was there to do a show with 5 other drag performers consisting of 3 rotating numbers . You do the math. She was the only one with three performances and blew the roof off the house. In case you were curious.

Typical snark from internet people willfully missing the point just to feed their own ego. Was it more tiring to google the event than commenting? Nice to see the "swell of support" from the home town, tho. /sarc

Since @7 is obviously aimed at me, please see my other comments. Not so much snark as just Little Edie overload lately, seeing an image that didn't match, and posting without thinking. I can't delete my comments, so there they are. So no willful anything, no ego going on. Sorry. Schmader, feel free to delete my comments if you're able, lest this thread turn into me-bashing rather than celebrating the performance.

I feel so lucky l got to see her perform this at Julia's during the Drag Race viewing party. I completely love her!!!
10
She did this number at Julia's a few weeks ago, it was a sheer delight. If you've not gone to the Monday viewing parties, go! It's a lot of fun and Jinkx always does a number and Q&A too. It's fun watching the show with her, since she has not seen the edited version of RuPaul's Drag Race.

And then there is this. I was in the audience...grateful for that.

(8: You're fine, 7 seems to be the one with something up their butt....)

Truly a rare talent.

January 2012, saw Jerrick Hoffer in Balagan's "Spring Awakening." Mind blown. Delighted for all the success/awareness right now. Well deserved.

Jinx is, as my friend Rex would say, a goddess on a stick.

Please wait...
