Technical tip: on a full charge, test-fly the thing to see how long it will stay up. Keep that time in mind as you fly missions, so you don't run into a situation where you can't recover the toy, errr... I mean, Spy Drone!

Finally catching this video. Nice work! A point about the cameras: they are actually powered on. You can see a tiny blue light inside the camera housing. Seattle PD claims that they're not "active" but I think that means their DVR system isn't recording.
As for getting up close shots, I see that still needs to be done.
