Gosh. Who could have expected this? The first GI Joe movie was such a cinematic masterpiece, after all.

Headline spell check, bitte.

Time to watch 'The Raid: Redemption' for about the 30th time.

Early spring has always been Hollywood's traditional Season to Dump Underperforming Projects; between the winter pre-Oscar "prestige season", and Summer Blockbuster Season.

So, not to worry Paul, you just have to hang in there a couple more months, at which point we'll be deluged with much better quality action films: IM 3, STID, Man of Steel, The Wolverine, Hunger Games II - heck, I'll even throw in Pacific Rim (even though I expect that to be on the order of 2013's Biggest Hot Mess), and that doesn't even include the late-summer releases like Red 2 & Kick-Ass 2, both of which look promising as well.

..does anybody get nekkid in it ?

Any sinking ice in this one?

They should have just done a live-action trilogy adaptation of the best three classic GI Joe cartoons.

The one with the insane teleporting stuff, and radioactive Snake Eyes. Giant robots. Fighting in the Marianas Trench.

Pyramid of Darkness, because why the hell not? Starring Shipwreck, the Village People sailor and his talking parrot.

The movie with Serpentor and Cobra-La and Burgess Meredith and guys throwing snakes through people like spears.

It's GI fucking Joe. Go full camp or don't both.

Well I know what I'm doing on Sunday now.

@2: Fixed, thanks! (And thanks for saying please instead of "you stupid dickheads." Politeness appreciated!)

Please wait...
