Neither political party has a good plan for dealing with illegal immigrants. It's a can of worms.

What should be done is to severely punish businesses that hire illegal immigrants and who treat them as disposable slaves - punish the dealers not the users - but nobody's got the balls to throw Small Business Mom & Pop landscaping or fast food joint in jail for hiring illegals and paying them in beans.
